Planning Section
Responsibilities of the Planning Section include the following tasks:
 Collect and process situation information about the incident.
Establish information requirements and reporting schedules for emergency response staff.
Determine need for any specialized resources in support of the incident.
Assemble information on alternative resources and strategies.
Provide periodic predictions on incident potential.
Report any significant changes in incident status.
Oversee preparation of incident demobilization plan.
